Recent Debit/Credit Card Breach at Large Retailer

As you may be aware, there has been a new card breach at a large retailer in recent days. Hometown Bank has now started to receive lists of card numbers from our vendor of possible compromised Hometown Bank debit cards. In order to protect our customers, we will be re-issuing new cards to our customers, and then deactivating their old cards after the new card is issued. As always, we encourage our customers to remain diligent in monitoring their accounts with Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and their statements.
